BIOQUENCH™
SUPER FRUIT EXTRACTS + ALA | Antioxidant Formula
The best part of the fruit is the part nobody eats.
Peel an apple and you leave most of its polyphenols behind. The grape seed you spit out is the richest common dietary source of proanthocyanidins — winemakers press them out by the ton. The punicalagins that made pomegranate famous are concentrated in the parts of the fruit people throw away. The xanthones everyone cites in mangosteen are in the thick purple hull.
There is a reason for that. A plant puts its most protective compounds in the tissue that faces the sun, the weather, and everything trying to eat it. The skin is the armor.
BioQuench is built from the armor.
Why the formula is built this way
Every cell has two places that need protecting
The watery interior, and the cell membrane around it. They are built from different material, and a compound that works well in one often cannot reach the other. Most antioxidant formulas cover only one.
INSIDE
THE CELL
Six plant classes covering both parts of every cell.
The cell membrane
Inside the cell
Alpha lipoic acid appears in both because it is one of very few antioxidants that can work in either place.
Ingredient by ingredient
Seven compounds, and what each one is doing. Amounts are per day, across two capsules.
Apple skin (Malus domestica) · 10:1 extract
200 mg per day
A 10:1 extract of the peel, where an apple keeps its phloretin and quercetin. The flesh has very little of either. Cornell researchers who measured both found the peel had significantly higher antioxidant activity than the flesh in every variety they tested.
Did you know? Apples are in the same family as roses.
Mangosteen hull (Garcinia mangostana) · 10:1 extract
200 mg per day
A 10:1 extract of the thick purple hull, not the sweet white flesh. Xanthones are a compound family found in almost no other edible plant. Mangosteen has an extensive library of clinical research.
Did you know? Fresh mangosteen could not legally be imported into the United States until 2007, on a fruit-fly risk.
Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) · 5:1, min. 10% polyphenols
200 mg per day
A 5:1 fruit extract, standardized to not less than 10% total polyphenols. Punicalagins are among the largest polyphenol molecules in the human diet, concentrated in the rind and the white internal membranes rather than the seed pockets people eat.
Did you know? The mouth-drying astringency of pomegranate peel is the tannin content announcing itself.
Grape seed (Vitis vinifera L.) · 95% proanthocyanidins, 85% polyphenols
170 mg per day
The seed, not the juice. At 95% standardization, 170 mg per day delivers roughly 162 mg of actual OPCs — the same concentration the premium single-ingredient brands charge for on its own. The material is held to a second specification as well: not less than 85% total polyphenols.
Trans-resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum) · 98% trans- isomer
150 mg per day
Resveratrol comes in two isomers (cis- and trans-) and only one of them (trans-) is the form used in published human research. Biotivia only uses 98% trans- in its product formulations.
Did you know? In the UK, planting Japanese knotweed in the wild is a criminal offence. It’s also eaten as a spring vegetable in Japan, where it’s called itadori.
Wolfberry (Lycium barbarum) · 20% polysaccharides
100 mg per day
Better known as goji berry. The standardized extract to 20% polysaccharides works in the watery interior of the cell neutralizing free radicals.
Alpha lipoic acid
30 mg per day
The one that is not like the others. It is both water-soluble and fat-soluble — which is why it can work inside the cell and in the membrane, and which almost no other antioxidant can do. It also takes part in the network that returns spent antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E to working form, and it is already native to your metabolism as a cofactor in mitochondrial energy production.
What’s in each capsule
Serving size is one capsule, and you take two a day — one morning, one evening. The Per day column is what you actually get each day.

Other ingredients
Capsule
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose
Plant-derived cellulose designed to fully dissolve in water. No gelatin, no bovine ingredients — which is what lets the label carry both Vegan and BSE/TSE Free.
Flow agent
Rice concentrate — Nu‑FLOW®
Made from rice hulls, roughly 19 mg per capsule. Keeps powdered extracts moving evenly so every capsule holds the same amount of active ingredient — the job most manufacturers give to synthetic silicon dioxide.
Carrier
Maltodextrin
Corn-based, not wheat, so there is no gluten. Certain extracts are spray-dried onto it. It works as an ingredient carrier, not a separately added ingredient.
Allergens
None. Reviewed against the FASTER Act list — no milk, egg, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans or sesame. No artificial colorants, no preservatives, no animal ingredients.
How to take it
Splitting the dose keeps coverage steadier across the day than a single dose would. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
With water, on an empty stomach. Alpha lipoic acid absorbs best that way.

Missed the window? Take it anyway, or simply carry on at your next usual time. Consistency matters more than precision.
Why the timing isn’t arbitrary
Alpha lipoic acid absorbs best on an empty stomach.
Research summarized by the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University found that taking ALA with food cuts peak blood levels by about 30%. All our usage recommendations are based on credible research.
How it’s made
Facility credentials
Manufactured for Biotivia in New York, USA, in an NSF GMP registered facility, under 21 CFR Part 111 current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Bottled and dated
Bottled in HDPE with a desiccant pillow and a foil induction seal under the cap, and given a three-year best-by date.
How it’s checked
Accredited testing
Every assay runs in an on-site laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the ANSI National Accreditation Board. Certificate of Analysis (COA) — issued for every lot produced.
What is tested, every batch
Identity and potency on the actives, each to 100–150% of label claim. Heavy metals — lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, by ICP-MS against per-capsule limits. Microbials — total plate count, yeast and mold, with E. coli, Salmonella and S. aureus required absent.
Storing it
Store at room temperature in a dry place, out of direct light. Reseal the cap promptly every time. Leave the desiccant pillow in the bottle — it is there to keep moisture away from the powder, and it works for the life of the bottle. A kitchen cupboard or a bedroom drawer beats a bathroom cabinet.
Who it’s for
Anyone who doesn’t eat the seeds, rind or hull of the fruit — which is nearly everyone. Those parts and the peel are where the compounds concentrate, and they are exactly what gets thrown away.
Carnivore
The plant compounds the diet leaves out.
Carnivore removes plant food entirely. Five of the six botanicals in BioQuench come from fruit: apple skin, mangosteen hull, pomegranate, grape seed and wolfberry.
Keto
Fruit is the first thing keto drops.
Keto keeps the leafy vegetables and drops nearly all the fruit, which is exactly where these polyphenols live. BioQuench replenishes them in two capsules a day.
Vegetarian & vegan
Every active is plant-derived.
What it adds to a plant-based plate is the part of the plant that gets composted — peel, hull, seed and rind. Almost nobody eats pomegranate rind or mangosteen hull.
Questions
How many capsules is a serving?
One. Serving size is a single capsule, and the directions are to take two a day — one in the morning, one in the evening. A 60-capsule bottle is 60 servings.
Why 30 minutes before food?
Alpha lipoic acid is the reason — it absorbs better on an empty stomach. The other six ingredients are not fussy about timing.
Can I take it with coffee?
Black coffee is fine — it does not put meaningful fat or protein in your stomach. Coffee with milk, or a breakfast alongside it, is the thing the timing is meant to avoid.
Is the capsule vegan?
Yes. It is a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule — plant-derived. No gelatin, no bovine ingredients. The finished product has been reviewed as vegan, gluten-free compliant and non-GMO.
Is there a proprietary blend?
No. A proprietary blend exists to keep you from seeing how much of each ingredient you are getting — it lets a company put a pinch of the expensive one behind a big total. Every dosage in BioQuench is printed on the label.
What is the difference between trans- and cis-resveratrol?
They are two isomers of the same molecule, and only the trans- form is what published human research has used. Light converts trans- to cis-, which is part of why the bottle is opaque and why storage out of direct light matters. BioQuench uses 98% trans-.
How long does a bottle last?
60 capsules at two a day is 30 days. Bottles carry a three-year best-by date from manufacture.
Can I put it in a pill organizer?
You can, but we would recommend keeping it in the bottle. The opaque bottle, the sealed cap and the desiccant pillow are each doing one of the jobs described above — keeping light, air and moisture away from the powder — and a clear plastic organizer on a sunlit counter defeats all three at once. A few days in one for travel is not going to undo the product; a month sitting out is a different matter.
Warnings. Keep out of reach of children. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Do not use if the clear safety seal around the bottle neck is broken or missing. As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, have a medical condition or have difficulty swallowing, consult your health care professional before use.
